DMCA Policy – Apollo Group TV

Filing a DMCA Notice (Copyright Infringement Claim)

If you are a copyright owner, or an agent authorized to act on behalf of one, and you believe that content hosted by Apollo Group TV infringes upon your copyright, please submit a written notice with the following information to our Copyright Agent:

  1. Identification of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed. If multiple copyrighted works are covered in one notice, you may provide a representative list of the works.

  5. A statement by you, made under penalty of perjury, that the information provided in your notice is accurate, and that you are either the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

  6. Your physical or electronic signature or the signature of someone authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

Counter-Notification Process

If you believe that content you posted on Apollo Group TV was mistakenly removed or disabled in response to a DMCA notice, you may file a counter-notification with our Copyright Agent. Your counter-notification must include the following information:

  1. Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled and the location where the material appeared before it was removed.

  2. Your contact information, including your name, address, and email address.

  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the content was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.

  4. A statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the federal district court in which your address is located, or if you are outside of the United States, to the jurisdiction of any judicial district in which Apollo Group TV may be found, and that you will accept service of process from the party that provided the original DMCA notice or an agent of that party.

  5. Your physical or electronic signature.

Once we receive a valid counter-notification, we will forward it to the original complainant. If the complainant does not file a lawsuit within 10 business days, we may reinstate the removed content.

Repeat Infringers

Apollo Group TV reserves the right to terminate user accounts or subscriptions of repeat infringers in accordance with the DMCA and other applicable copyright laws.
